Small Wars Journal covered the role of artificial intelligence and virtual assistants in modern operational environments, where they become critically important tools for instant information processing and the automation of complex processes. The main emphasis is on how AI integration optimises decision-making in dynamic conditions, minimising the cognitive load on staff and ensuring accuracy when working with large volumes of data.
My take: For business this is a direct signal to abandon simple chatbots in favour of autonomous agents able to carry out complex multi-step scenarios without constant human intervention. As a developer, I see here a chance to integrate AI more deeply into business logic — from analysing internal data to automating routine operations in real time. In my projects under the HUMANiKRON brand I plan to focus on building architectures where LLM models act not just as a chat interface but as an intelligent engine for optimising workflows. This lets developers build tools that genuinely free up the team's resources for strategic tasks, keeping the system stable under high uncertainty. Using such technologies is the path to truly scalable products, where every automated step raises the efficiency of the end business.
